AT A GLANCE

PURPOSE

The purpose of NTBI, as the first phase of training with New Tribes Mission, is to equip and establish believers in the interpretation and application of the foundational truths of the Bible.

MISSION

Training a generation to evangelize the world.

OBJECTIVES

Academics . Courses relate only to the study of the Bible.
Application . Biblical truths are applied to everyday life.
Preparation . A biblical foundation is laid for cross-cultural missions.

A UNIQUE PERSPECTIVE

At NTBI, we believe that the Bible and missions should not be separated and are one story. In Genesis 12, God blessed Abraham and told him that his descendants would be a blessing to all nations or ethnic groups. In Revelation 5:9, we are told that every people group will be represented in heaven. The whole Bible is the story of a missionary God seeking worshippers of every kindred, tribe, and tongue. Studying the Bible from this perspective brings an exciting urgency and purpose to not only gaining Biblical knowledge, but also being ready to share it with a dark and needy world.

PHILOSOPHY OF MINISTRY

The NTBI leadership team has created an academic environment that will prepare you for the lifelong adventure of serving the Lord Jesus Christ. The training is personal and practical. You will have godly mentors to encourage you in your spiritual journey. The staff seeks to walk humbly with God, depending on the Holy Spirit to bring about spiritual growth within the student body.

BIBLICAL FOUNDATION

"Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (II Timothy 2:15 KJV)

"NTBI offers an incredibly valuable opportunity to those who wish to prepare themselves for a life of effective ministry; especially those who plan to minister cross-culturally. I am convinced that the faculty are committed to the personal growth and spiritual development of each and every student, and that the students are benefiting tremendously."
